The Houston ToolBank invites community members to attend Tool School workshops to learn hands-on tool usage and care, helping you tackle projects with confidence.

  • Practical, guided activities that will boost basic hand and power tool usage
  • Focus on safety and efficiency
  • Interactive learning with experienced guidance

The Houston ToolBank provides all relevant tools, equipment, and materials for each workshop, including protective gear.

07/31/2026 DeWalt Power Tools Training

Join us for a hands-on Tool Training led by DeWalt at the ToolBank. Participants will rotate through interactive stations and receive practical instruction on five commonly used tools: drills & impact drivers, circular saws, reciprocating saws, miter saw, and framing nailers.

This workshop covers hand and power tools commonly found in the home with a primary focus on basic carpentry skills.
