How Can the Houston ToolBank Help Your School?

Campus Beautification & Improvement Projects

Need your garden beds cleaned out? Dead plants and trash removed? The ToolBank will bring the tools needed and will work with students, parents, and other volunteers to complete the projects you need to activate outdoor spaces!

Picnic Tables & Folding Desks

We donate volunteer-built foldable student desks and picnic tables for school use. The student desks are often sent home for students who lack a place to focus on school work, but have also been used for reading nooks or other added classroom capacity.

New! Tool School

Launching Fall 2023, “Tool School” is a training program aimed to educate and engage high school-aged students on the fundamentals and safe usage of tools and equipment commonly found in many homes while forming a better understanding of trade and nonprofit sector careers. The course will be broken up into five sessions that involve introductions and proper training for hand and power tools, practical skill application at their school and in the community with a nonprofit partner, and will end with a guided tour of a facility where trade careers thrive.

...and more!

The Houston ToolBank is ready to help support your programs however we can. Sign up to become a member (it’s free!), check out our inventory, and let us know what we can do to help you, your students, and your campus.
